Job Description
As a Senior Consultant, you act as a key pillar within project delivery, taking ownership of complex workstreams and contributing to client engagements across commercial due diligence, value creation, and M&A strategy.
You combine a strong consulting toolkit, analytical thinking, and excellent people skills to deliver high-impact outcomes. This role is ideal for consultants looking to deepen their expertise, operate with guided autonomy, in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
You will drive analysis and project outcomes, support client relationships, and contribute to building Kookoo’s internal capabilities. You bring an entrepreneurial mindset and continuously challenge both clients and teams to create strategic value.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality client impact (70%)
Lead and manage complex project workstreams with a high degree of ownership
Drive analysis and translate insights into clear strategic recommendations
Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards and align with client expectations
Support teams in solving complex strategic challenges
Contribute to the client strategy and value creation initiatives
2. Develop Kookoo’s expertise and ways of working (20%)
Deepen your expertise and become a subject-matter expert in selected domains
Contribute to building methodologies, frameworks, and internal knowledge
Apply advanced strategic approaches within your area of expertise
Support proposal development and help shape client solutions
3. Support team growth and firm contribution (10%)
Mentor and coach junior consultants and interns
Provide structured feedback to support capability development
Act as a bridge between teams and leadership to ensure alignment
Contribute to internal initiatives such as knowledge sharing and team development
You will bring
Hard skills
Master’s degree in business or equivalent
3–5 years of experience in strategy or management consulting (or similar roles)
Experience in commercial due diligence, value creation, or strategy projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured communication
Language skills: Native Dutch or French speaker, with fluency in English
Soft skills
Ability to work with guided autonomy and strong ownership
Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive contribution to proposals and client growth
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Collaborative spirit and a strong team-oriented mindset
